I would like to let you know how amazingly organized the race was and how incredibly friendly all of the volunteers were for this year’s Challenge. The Cow Challenge was the first big tri (almost Olympic) I did 6 years ago, I did a few after and then took a hiatus and then had a baby last summer. I went back again and struggled through the tri yesterday ....but found the whole organization and volunteers to be absolutely lovely. They were super helpful, friendly and happy to be there. Please pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation.
You have a great tri. I hope to be back next year and really be ready for it.

I just wanted to say again. great race! I have been racing since 1986, and in the midst of all the high profile races in big cities, with thousands of competitors from around the world, we lose sight of the grass roots of the sport. The fun local races, with beautiful scenery, fun competitors, even the fun prize categories.
I did horrible in the race, am just not myself. One month from my break up with my 8 year relationship with my girlfriend from Calgary, she was not dealing well with my two year assignment here in Victoria with the military supporting the Olympics. Somewhere along the bike ride, I zoned out, reflected on the relationship, and just took in the sights and scenery, and remembered how fun some courses can really be.
For the next 2+ years you will be one of my fun races away from the Subaru Circuit, the Nationals and all that, and the race to just kick back and enjoy.Kelly
Congrats again this year on again, a job well done, and to your wonderful crew of hard working volunteers..... I love the way you always have the weather fit for a Tri.

Please feel free to post my comments regarding the volunteers and of course the organization in general. I have attended a lot of events over the years which are done well, but your event was not only done well but the volunteers were really lovely.
I was thrilled to see the mats across the big train tracks, the marking was awesome and I laughed and grimaced at the same time when I saw the smiley faced on the last hill!! Please feel free to post and pass on my appreciation to all.
