Who We Are

We are the Cowichan Valley’s very own running club. The Ceevacs Roadrunners have been active as a running club and more recently as a non-profit society since November of 1980.

What We Do

Our club’s purposes as stated in our Constitution and Bylaws (provide link here) are:

  1. To encourage, support, foster and promote  running, walking and other fitness-related activities for the enjoyment, health, and well-being of our members and community;
  2. To organize and provide running, walking and triathlon events and related educational and public awareness programs for our members and community;

Mostly we like to get fit, stay fit and enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle alongside our many club friends.

Please consider joining our club.  You’ll never look back!

Benefits of Membership
Meet new friends. Who doesn’t like meeting new friends to run and train with? What better way to get and stay motivated. Life long friendships often begin when you join our club.
Excellent coaching. Sheron Chrysler, our club coach, is highly respected in the running community and will help you improve all aspects of your running.
Experience new running events. We have access to some amazing running events but often it takes joining a club to know just where. It’s also a great way to find others to enjoy these events with.
Enjoy many social activities with friends. Swap stories in one of our local coffee shops following weekly training runs, enjoy potlucks and barbeques after summer fun runs, get to know your fellow members even better at out-of-town relays, eat, indulge and dance the night away at our fantastic Christmas and annual awards party. These and many other fun times happen throughout the year.
Help organize and host running events. Our club hosts the Cobble Hill 10k , Cowichan Autumn Classic and Cowichan Challenge Triathlon. We also host a Run/Walk Clinic and work with others to support a wide variety of fitness-related events.
Learn new trails and running routes. Many of our members know every nook and cranny in our beautiful Cowichan Valley and they are always willing to show fellow members these incredibly beautiful running routes.
Feeling good by helping one another and giving back to your local community.
